I was browsing eyeglass frames...

I was browsing eyeglass frames when the individual below was talking with the associate named Beth. She was so rude to him! She had this look like he was a speck of dust on her shoe and when he left, she said some racist remarks about him to her coworkers. I almost wanted to find the guy and tell him (he didn't yell or curse and could certainly teach some people manners). And anyone with half a brain can see the five star review below is planted (obviously by a friend of this Beth). She spends half her review bashing his review which she didn't even read thoroughly. I'm a college student, and $55 means a lot to my friends and I. That's a weeks worth of groceries! Some eye care providers also give a contact lens exam as part of the original eye exam (my uncle is an eye doctor in Nevada). This Courtney person is incredibly ignorant and callous, and really needs a reality check. I certainly won't be going to this store either and would recommend others to seek more professional eye care providers elsewhere or at least until they find some new customer service reps!

Excellent doctor, extremely poor customer service.

Courtney, no offense taken, but I find it extremely amusing that a 5 star review would go up so quickly after I posted mine, and the fact it would target my own negative review. And FYI, I have never been charged additionally for a contact lense exam. Please do not assume I am some ignorant individual (I've had contacts for almost a decade). Finally, this was from a personal experience, and I am pleased to hear that the associates stepped up their game to give you excellent customer service.

I went in for a eye exam for contact lenses July 15th, 2014. The first associate that assisted me was extremely helpful and the doctor was knowledgeable and experienced. However, when I went to pay for my visit, an associate named Beth told me my bill was $55 more than what I had expected. I asked her what additional fee was and she told me (in a rather snobbish attitude) that it was the fee for the contact lense exam on top of the eye exam. I mentioned to her I wasn't told this, to which she said it was in the policy letter I signed. Politely, I asked her to show me. It turned out there was no such item in the policy letter I signed to which she shifted gears and said "It's always been this way." I had other errands to run so I paid and came back the next day to ask for a refund since I was treated rather rudely. Beth was there again, and I had to deal with her. When I asked for a refund she gave me a dirty look and told me that she talked to the associate yesterday and she had told me about the additional charge. If she had told, I said, then I wouldn't have gone ahead with the exam. She finally relented, but rudely told me that I had to bring the prescription back (which is understandable) and also the contact trial lenses I had received. I mentioned that trial lenses were free, but she told me they weren't since I was getting a refund.

In the end, I contacted the regional manager and was told that the experience I had was completely unacceptable and she would deal with the problem personally. I received my refund for contact lense exam and will never go back to that store again.

I understand the reality of working retail, and respect people in it. However, I will not tolerate being lied too, nor treated in such a disrespectful manner.

I went in for an eye exam on July 21st, 2014 and had a great experience! The doctor was experienced and friendly, and I was attended to quickly. Customer service associates were all great too and very attentive! No offense to the person posting the review before mine, but anyone who has worn contact lenses before knows that there is ALWAYS an additional charge for a contact lens fitting that is usually not covered by insurance - if you want a contact lens prescription there are additional fees, and that's just the way it is. Honestly an extra $50 is not that much for a contact lens fitting and you could easily pay a lot more for the same service at a different clinic. If you don't want to pay for it, wear glasses! Even though I already knew of this charge (I have been wearing contacts for over 15 years) I was still informed of it when I booked my appointment over the phone by the customer service associate. Great prices and great experience, I left a happy customer and I'll be back!
