Stonecreek Family Physicians opened in 1999 with four doctors, Drs. Kevin Wall, Douglas Hinkin, Keith Wright and Debra Doubek who previously practiced at Manhattan Family Physicians. Understanding the need to make patients comfortable as well as the need for efficiency they worked diligently to create the blueprint for Stonecreek. Construction began in 1998 with the first patients cared for in the new facility in June 1999. Dr. Jacqi Seaton joined Stonecreek in June followed by Dr. Kiracofe in August of 1999.

completely horrible

I visited stonecreek for the better part of a year frequently due to the nature of my visits as things begin to improve and a solution is getting close a hiccup in the process occurs and I am told by Dr. Pope that my situation is to complicated and I need to find a new doctor this visit lasted 2 minutes... I was still charged for this. I didn't have the money to pay at the time and then left a couple months later without receiving a phone call or any reminder of this bill they withdrawal the funds from my account. When I called to ask they told me I signed a paper giving them permission to do this I know that I did not sign a paper stating anything near that. The person helping while she was polite did not seem to care at all about me stating I did not sign such paperwork. I was told that a person from the administration was going to contact me it's been a week and a half and I have still yet to hear anything. Please save yourself a headache there are much better practices in manhattan and the unprofessional clinic stone Creek needs to be investigated for forging my signature and Dr Pope needs to go back to school the medication you gave me has known withdrawal effects yet when things get complicated you don't even give a lower dose? How does cold turkey sound?... Needless to say I found a new doctor at a new practice and wow not only is it easy to get an appointment almost next day they also seem to know what they are doing

Dr. Harrison is new to the practice and I was a little wary when he became my doctor after my previous doctor had left the practice - it's always difficult starting over with a new physician. However, I couldn't be happier. The one quality that I most value in Dr. Harrison is his tenacity. He is not satisfied with his patient's just being "okay". He wants you to get better regardless of whether that means getting over the common cold or if you have more long term issue such as obesity or plantar fasciitis. I saw him recently in the hopes of relieving the chronic pain I had suffered with fasciitis. I had previously rec'd cortisone shots from podiatrists with varying degrees of effectiveness. Dr. Harrison explained to me that the shot would be painful (I already knew), reminded me that is would be painful (yeah, I know), and reiterated that it would be painful (got it doc, get on with shot). Well, he did an excellent job. It wasn't that bad and I have been completely pain free for the last 30+ days. Without going into too much further details regarding the other reasons for my visits, I'm just overall so pleased to have been placed under Dr. Harrison's care. His tenacity for improving your overall well-being and his sense of humor make each visit seem less stressful.
