No, it will not decrease your property value.  Actually in comparison to long term rental Coastal Vacation Estates personnel  are in your property at least every 2 weeks.  This allows us to maintain the property and keep it in good condition.

Most vacation or corporate property renters are property owners themselves, so they usually know how to take care of someone else's property.  Our policy is not to rent it to parties, weddings or production companies unless it has been approved by you in advance

Will my property be rented all year long?

Nearly all properties are located in destination areas that have a definite "high" or busy season.  We at Coast Vacation Estates focus on properties that are destinations for the client. Vacation rental properties tend to be rented most often during this high season. Summer is high season in most locations; however, winter is high season in ski areas.  During the low season we market the property as corporate rentals for executives who are looking for temporary housing.

What are the cons of renting my vacation property myself and not using Coastal Vacation Estates?

You will need to dedicate a substantial amount of  time in advertising and managing your property. You will also need to research and adhere to all local regulations and pay all required taxes and fees.

Who does the maintenance and cleaning?

Coastal Vacation Estates takes care of all the housekeeping and maintenance of the property.   We keep a fund of $300 in an trust account for issues that might come up in an emergency.  If the cost is more than $300 we will contact you for approval on the expenditure.
