Villa Maria Academy, established in 1945 by the Sister Servants of Immaculate Heart of Mary, is a private Catholic high school. Located in Malvern, Pa., the academy enrolls more than 400 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes English, theology, social studies, math, science, computer studies, and health and physical education. Advanced placement programs are offered in American and European history, French language and literature, Spanish, calculus, statistics, biology, chemistry, physics, art and music. The school offers various activities, such as mathletes, freshman art club, National Honor Society, concert chorus, and environmental science club. It also offers various sports activities, including football, volleyball, basketball, track, cross-country, golf, softball, swimming, soccer and tennis. The academy is accredited by the State of Pennsylvania and Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. The school offers library facility and cafeteria service to its students.
