Who are we? Beam's School of Music teaches all styles of music, including Rock, Pop, Jazz, Folk and Classical. Whether you are an amateur or a professional, or if you just want to have some fun playing music, you will find the personalized instruction at Beam's School of Music the area's best. Instruction is available for all instruments. Beam's has been offering music lessons and the opportunity for students to perform since 1972. Our piano teachers offer recitals yearly and our woodwind, voice and piano teacher has offered the chance to perform on the main stage of the World Café Live in Philadelphia since 2008. Our drum teachers offer clinics and our guitar teachers offer seminars in rock, acoustic guitar and music theory to supplement weekly lessons Ken Meyle has been teaching at Beam's Studios since 1977 and has been teaching privately since 1971. He studied acoustic guitar with Rob Zwally, rock guitar with Jim Liberato, and jazz guitar with Paul Burn. We have our own repair shop right on the premises and can perform set ups and repairs on electric and acoustic guitars as well as repairs on all band and orchestra instruments. We also do repairs on amplifiers. Rental- Beam's has high quality instruments for rent for students of all ages.
