First off lat me say, the staff is very nice and pleasant. That being said buyers beware. I bought some floor tiles and was happy enough with them receiving a good deal per square foot and returned to buy some subway tiles for my shower. Ya know, subway tiles arguably the most common tiles around. I paid 34 cents per tile and though that was more or less the going rate. Later that day I go to Lowe's for hardiebacker and see that they have the same tile for 15 cents -for reference that's about a $100 savings in a 36" square shower.

I tried to take it on the chin but found myself way more irritated how I grossly over paid for a simple product and I call SHS. They more or less tell me that the items can not be returned and that the best they could do was give me store credit. I asked if they could at least price match since this was some pretty obvious gouging, I was told they on the store level nothing could be done and that they could put in a request but not to expect much.

In short, I enjoyed the staff but the store policy is lacking. Another reviewer noted that the term "surplus" is misleading meaning that there isn't much of a discount -on tiles at least. My advice, go to Lowe's/Home Depot for tiles, the prices are better -or close enough that it doesn't warrant a drive to Madison

You can find every type of kitchen and bath cabinet in this store, not to mention sinks, faucets and flooring of all types. When you arrive at this store, plan to stay awhile as the selections are countless!

This is a great place to find cabinets and flooring for your renovation. I have worked closely with them on many projects and have always been happy with the end results. They are easy to work with and you don't have to be a contractor to feel comfortable going into their show room.
