I started going to Mastercuts in 2006. Over the spring, I got a different, much shorter haircut & also switched stylists. Lisa did a great job the first time. But when I went back a few weeks later to get a trim (on my only day off work) I had a horrible experience... I put my name on the waiting list & was told it would be about 15 minutes. I checked about 3 times over the course of an hour, and she was still with another customer. I was getting frustrated & wanted to leave, but I also felt that would make the time I'd already waited a waste. After about an hour of waiting, I saw Lisa walk out, text messaging. I went in & asked the manager what was going on & she said, "Oh, I'm sorry. She went on her break." Annoying? Yes. I decided to run some errands while I waited (she does a great job & I don't trust anyone else with my hair). She came back from her break after I'd been waiting 2 hours & 15 minutes. Then she just went on and on about what took her so long. Blah blah blah. They didn't offer a free cut for the trouble or anything. Silly me, I went back again a few months later to a different stylist & she BUTCHERED my hair. I don't know what she was thinking. I wanted my Victoria Beckham cut to be trimmed & it came out like a cross between Hillary Clinton & Florence Henderson (on the "Brady Bunch"). Let's just say I won't go back.
