Dr. Young has been practicing orthopedic and hand surgery in northern Colorado for 15 years. He specializes in the treatment of general orthopedic disorders including fractures and arthritis, as well as other disorders of the bones, joints, tendons, and nerves. The team at Colorado Orthopedic & Hand Surgery offers highly-individualized care to every patient. We understand that not all treatment options are appropriate for all patients and will tailor a treatment plan specific to the individual. We know that providing the best care for the patient comes from educating the patient regarding their injury or disorder, informing the patient of their options for treatment, and empowering the patient to select the treatment route that holds the most promise of an excellent outcome. Sometimes the best treatment option is a surgical procedure, and sometimes it is not. Non-surgical options such as referral for physical or hand therapy, activity modification, or anti-inflammatory corticosteroid injections may be the better choice for some disorders and for some patients.
