The waiter didn't place my order ticket on my table. When I went to pay, I was asked what I had. I was by myself and at one point, while eating, I was attended to by the cashier. I told her what I had. She looked puzzled ask that someone go and ask the waiter what I had ordered. The manner in which the transaction was completed would have made you think I was ready to run out the door. The order was verified, I paid and as I was leaving I indicated I wouldn’t be back.

what I expected would have gone something like this:

I'm sorry sir, but the waiter should have placed your ticket on the table. By store policy we need your ticket to check you out. We will get it from the waiter. We will try to insure this doesn't happen again.
