If I will never deal with this catering and the owner, David, it is too soon. I had the worst experience with this catering for our event last week. The owner is a cheat, manipulative, bully and a pathological liar. His prices are 30% - 40% more than other kosher catering and the food is not much different. You will end up paying almost $100 per person for food alone. But the service and the way he deals with the clients is the worst.

We sat with him twice more than two months before the event. He kept promising that he will bring the best food and serve the most delicious dinner all night, bla bla, and kept making decisions for us. He scribbled a few numbers on the back of his order/menu form and showed us the total. We though the number looked normal and the picture of the portions and the stations were nice. Later I found out that we are buying the beverages including alcoholic ourselves separately. We also found out that we are supposed to rent the plates and utensils separately. We even had to rent the table cloths for his food stations. Less than week before the event, he told us that we are also responsible for the servers as well. We should deal with them and pay them separately as well. Heck, he forced me to buy water and ICE and deliver it myself. He kept manipulating our family members by calling one and telling lies about his conversation with another family member, just to get his deal through and scam us with no shame. We finally agreed to pay him extra so he will bring his own servers to serve the food. We even gave him money to tip the servers. The portions he promised us were small, he over charged us for the sushi and extra charged us for almost everything. During my search for other caterers I found out that he overcharged us at least 35%. On top of all, he put us through such aggravation that sucked the whole joy out of our event. Stay away from this one for your own good.
