Time and Gems/Watch Empire are...

Time and Gems/Watch Empire are running a deceitful online scam. They took my money, sent me a different watch than the one I purchased, went back on their word of a full refund once I returned the watch, proceeded to ignore any attempts to get in touch with them that I made, and are currently illegally withholding $9,000 of my much needed funds. If you would like to avoid dealing with scammers, having no access to your entitled refund, lawsuits, and a huge headache, you should DEFINITELY take your business elsewhere! You may hear names like Lloyd, Jason Smith, Michael Davidi, and Jeff Chan..all of these individuals serve to scam you out of your money. Don't be a fool no matter how pretty their pictures of their website may be!

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT...

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TIME AND GEMS!!!!! Please read all....

I innocently enough decided to buy a $8,000 Rolex online from them. This watch was advertised as a 100% original factory Rolex. When I took the watch in to have this verified, I was told that the diamonds we definitely added aftermarket and not by Rolex. When I mentioned this to Jason Smith and Lloyd who work there, I was yelled at hung up on (literally). I had to keep calling back over 20 times before they finally picked up. They then went back on their word of a full refund, saying that I was lying. I was then told to go and have the two authorized Rolex dealers sign that this was the case on their letterhead. Once I showed them this evidence, they told me to ship the watch back ($60), just to find it at my doorstep a day later with a note saying it was past the 3-day inspection period, despite the fact that this process took so long since they had me jumping through hoops and kept ignoring my calls.

I then finally figured out how they do business and their niche so to speak: in small claims court you can only sue for up to $7,500. Since the watch was $8,000 and small claims court still costs money, they thought that I wouldn't take the loss. Another option would be to get a lawyer, which would cost thousands in addition. They assume, therefore, that you will just sit back and let them rob you so that you don't have to take any further loss. I was then asked to ship the watch back again ($60) so that Jason's friend could verify wether the diamonds were original or not. I suspect that despite all of the proof I had already showed, his friend agreed since after this long battle I was offered a refund (minus $40 of the initial shipping). They will send you on a wild goose chase since they know they have the upper hand on your money.

I have never in my entire life delt with individuals like this..their treatment of fellow human beings, especially those who decide in confidence to give them their business is alarming. I sincerely hope that if you choose to buy an expensive watch online, you will choose to give someone else your business. Please do not find out the hard way as I did. I sincerely hope that this will help you in your decision of where to purchase a watch from!
