We wholeheartedly support the efforts our great local organizations like Friends of the Shelter and the Los Alamos Dog Obedience Club. We answer the phone 24 hours a day/7 days a week. So, if your pooch gets skunked at 2 AM or you discover you are out of your diabetic cat's food afterhours, please give us a call. We are here to help you when you need us.

This place is awesome

I can't say enough good about Pet Pangaea. Cyndi, the owner is really well-informed and astute with respect to pet nutrition, and has forwarded me all kinds of information when I had a special-needs kitty. She has gone out of her way to stock anything that I said I really need for my cats, as well as things I just kinda wanted for my horse. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. There are specialty pet stores in Santa Fe where I live, but I can seldom shop there because they close before I get back each day from Los Alamos; it's been a Godsend to have Pet Pangaea here in Los Alamos. I'd encourage anyone to give them as much of your business as possible, even for things you could buy elsewhere, as I'm all for supporting a local merchant who bends over backward to serve the community.

We believe that pets are as individual as their owners, so we carry a variety of high quality foods, treats, and supplements. We carry foods for dogs, cats, horses, chickens and game birds, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice and rats, snakes, reptiles, and birds (both domestic and wild).
