This business is under new ownership/management. The new crew seems to be competent and professional. The previous owner, although friendly, wasn't a good businessman. I spent a bundle here last year (summer of 2011) having my surge brake actuator replaced and trailer brakes completely overhauled ($650). A couple of weeks ago the trailer brakes locked up again (same as last summer). "Skeet" (shop manager - I think that's his name), was able to resolve the problem this time for under $200. Makes me wonder if I got ripped off last summer by the previous owner. Maybe that's why he's gone and someone else owns the shop now. Anyway, these guys seem to be honest and fair. So far so good with 3 out of 5 stars. We'll see if they improve.

Stay away from these guys if you want serious work done. I think the company is poorly run and doesn't have a sense of urgency. While I think the owner is an honest and trustworthy guy, in the end, they failed to come through on a critical repair. I needed work done on my boat trailer's hub. One axle was getting hot and I had a 1200 mile trip to take with the boat. Left it with them. 3 weeks later, no fix. I had to leave on my trip WITHOUT MY BOAT, then pay $1100 to have it professionally shipped. They said it needed a new axle, ordered the wrong one. Their supply chain sucks. Turns out it just needed bearings and the brake adjusted. I needed their expertise and it was wrong. Very expensive mistake working with these guys.

This trailer shop is a gem of a place. I found out about them on the internet yellow pages (of all places) and brought my vehicle in to have it rigged for lights and towing since they were so close to Ft Belvoir. For something this mundane, it was a really positive experience as the guys there did a great job. They had me in and out again during lunch. Their customer service is superb; the guys in the shop are friendly and hard working. I was impressed with their work ethic and desire to “get things right”. Their work is first rate and I have no reservations in recommending them to others which is why I’m writing this review. Give them a try if you need trailer or car work done, I think you too will be happy with the results.
