I pumped $15 of gas at 8 am, then AN HOUR LATER just happened to be reviewing my credit card account balances. CHEVRON, according to the Chase Bank representative, randomly puts a "HOLD" of $126 on customer credit cards until the final authorization goes through in 3 days. Imagine if you are on a trip and suddenly you have $126 or $252 etc less credit available for a few days. This is my LAST STOP at a CHEVRON gas station. The business location itself is clean and the people agreeable, but customers need to fight egregious corporate policies.
