The staff is knowledgeable and kind. However, the owner is another story. We bought a large tank and we were not sure if it would suit our needs. The guy helping us assured us we could return it if we had a receipt. We decided to return the tank the next day. The owner immediately started yelling at me! In front of my children! He was waving his arms and calling me a bad customer because I wanted my money back. The guy that helped us even admitted he told us we could return it but the owner didn't care. I had to ask him many times to calm down. He wanted to give me store credit but then told me he didn't want me to be a customer and that I should never return. So he offered me a credit of $140 I wasn't allowed to use. That's stealing! And this is with out me yelling or returning insults. I stayed calm so other customers could see what we were dealing with. In the end he gave us our money back. We will gladly never return.

Went to troiquatics for guinea pig food. The young man charged me for food and another customers fish gravel. I left after paying. The young man ran after me and told me what happened. Went back into store for refund, he could not refund my card. The owner came and could not either, got frustrated and blamed me for not catching his employees mistake.when I commented I was not the one who over charged me I was told I should have known guinea pig food did not cost $ 25. Every time I patronize this pet store the owner is too busy and rude. I will be limiting my patronage of this establishment.

i first started going to this store as a boy when it was across the street. got my first cat there and about every fish tank and fish for the last 20 years. great fish selection hard to find fresh water fish and some times even american game fish. the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. clean store and healthy animals

Its nice to go into a store and have the staff know what they are selling and hot to care for the fish. Very friendly...always!!! Not just interested in selling whatever they can, but selling you what you really need and will tell you what you should not buy. This store has stopped my from shopping any place else.

BEST IN THE BURBS The tanks are always clean, staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.The prices are reasonable even cheap compared than some of the big box fish adventure stores in the aria.

.Staff is very knowledgeable and the owner cares. Very healthy and good selection of fish both fresh and salt, best shop on the near north subs. They even have a fish club which gets you better deals at a reasonable price.
