My name is Lisa Gorgastani with Details Event Planning and I'm going to show you some different types of wedding invitations. So I would divide wedding invitations into three different categories. You have casual, you have more formal and I'd say a little funky would be the third category. This is an example of something a little more personal. This is actually the tree that they got married under so that's a nice way to incorporate that but I would say this definitely has a slightly more casual feel to it and I created a little velum insert with a quote that laid right over their invitation. This is another idea something a little more casual. It was a nautical theme. It was on the Malibu Pier and so what they did is just used their anchor image at the top and then create a little grosgrain belt to wrap around it. My sort of definition of what I think a formal invitation is is a really nice thick paper stock with relatively simple script or font where it's not bringing in too many colors, it's not bringing in a bunch of images. So it's a little simpler although the quality really is really nice. So this was a really thick card that had a silver beveled edge with just a really clean layout and moving on to something that was a little funkier. This was for a destination wedding so this might be for a good use to do something a little different. This was in Mexico and it was a little packet of information that was wrapped with a red dupioni fabric and then created this ribbon band and then it was a whole packet with the wedding invitation in obviously bright bold colors which is a little more funky that had all the travel arrangements and their RSVP card and the weekend festivities so some other ideas for funky invitations are really I'd say what they print on. Some people print on Lucite. They print on definitely thicker paper, or fabric, so it's using a different product to kind of give it a little bit of an edge.
