I'm Tara Wilson; designer at Tara Wilson Events. Today we're going to talk about how to decorate a gazebo. Gazebos are really a wonderful element to add to your wedding; but they can be challenging to decorate. Let's talk about some of the things that you would want to consider if you are going to use a gazebo for your ceremony or reception. I recommend you start by talking with your floral designer. Finding out if it's appropriate to add fresh flowers or perhaps artificial flowers to the gazebo is essential when thinking about your budget and the overall design. Also, you might want to look around at some fabric stores. Are you planning to wrap the gazebo with tool or other forms of fabric? That should factor into your budget as well. You might even have to get some special assistance. Perhaps you need a carpenter to help you hang some of these elements. So visit with local vendors who can help you execute this wonderful idea for a wedding. Floral is a great way to decorate; fabric is another fabulous way to decorate. Think about lighting. Do you need lighting in your gazebo? Perhaps you should meet with your lighting designer to determine if that's appropriate. And don't forget about your electrical needs. Making sure that you can light that gazebo is very important. Talking with your vendors about your idea is a great way to make sure that it happens and then also that your vision comes to fruition on your wedding day.
