Casual bridal hair is actually really, really big right now. Not just for the vineyard wedding or the garden wedding or the beach wedding, but even for city weddings. So people are seeing what is walking down the red carpet at the Emmy awards, and they are seeing these celebrities wear these beautiful, soft, undone looking hairstyles. So the brides right now are taking those ideas, and incorporating them into their weddings, which is really beautiful. Whether it is a hairstyle that is down and loose for a beach wedding or tousled and up. When I say tousled that means that there is texture to the hair, and there is movement to the hair without looking curly. Certainly you could add a little bit more wave to it, and make it wedding hair. Or soft waves you can also incorporate long hair with some simple soft waves. The hot hair styles, the more modern bridal hairstyles are what you see that is walking down the red carpet. The soft textury hairstyles that you always see Jessica Alba wearing. Looks like she just ran her fingers through it, and put it up herself when reality it probably took a good hour, two hours to do. Just very soft, and romantic, and understated in a way. You look polished, and put together, but without being overdone.

Get hair savvy
Don't know what hairstyle you want? Some experimentation is in order. Try curls, straightening, braids or updos -- not to mention hair products. Keep in mind any veils or hair accessories you plan on wearing. Make sure your hairstyle complements rather than competes with the accessory.
