A brunch bridal shower offers lots of opportunities for creativity. From champagne brunch to high tea, there are many themes to choose from, and all of them suggest invitations. Choose decorated paper and make your own invitations, or buy invitations ready-made from a paper or party supplies store that suit your theme.

Brunch Invitation Basics

Include the date, time, location and any instructions for guests on the invitation. Call your gathering a "brunch" to let your guests know you'll be serving a meal. Registry information is optional, but ensure your wording doesn't make the invitation look like a plea for gifts. Include the date by which guests should RSVP along with the preferred method.

Brunch Theme Invitations

Using your menu as inspiration, ask guests to buy gifts based on what the bride needs to prepare brunch at home. While this is similar to a typical kitchen shower, the scope is more limited. Look for ready-made invitations featuring muffins or croissants. If you have a small guest list, host a slumber party with the brunch as the finale. You can create your own invitations using stationery with sleeping bags or cards in the shape of suitcases.

Tea Party Invitations

A tea party theme fits well with a brunch bridal shower because the food is much the same. Find invitations shaped like teapots or cups and saucers. For a cozy touch, include a paper doily in lieu of the tissue paper found in fancy invitations. If the weather allows for an outdoor shower, look for parks or backyards with fragrant gardens. Design your own wedding shower brunch invitation on floral card stock. Look for blooms large enough to write party details on separate petals. Enclose a few silk petals or a single small bud in each envelope.

Champagne Brunch Invitations

Use the upscale brunch at a hotel or restaurant near you as inspiration for the bridal shower. Plan to serve mimosas, quiche and smoked salmon, and select a food element for the invitation. Blank New Year's Eve party invitations in the shape of champagne bottles and glasses work perfectly for the theme. You can also look for celebratory stationery and print your own champagne brunch shower invitations from home.
