Plan a special experience for all of the women at your bachelorette party

If you are looking to host a bachelorette party but want to avoid the traditional activities, like bar hopping, there are plenty of other options. What you decide to do for the bachelorette party should depend on the personality of the bride and her guests. There are tame activities you can opt for and wild ones as well. Choose an activity or several activities to celebrate one of the bride's last nights of being single.

Spa Treatments and an Upscale Dinner

Go out to a local spa and enjoy being pampered with the bride and the rest of her friends. Choose from a variety of services, including having your makeup applied to having your nails manicured and pedicured. Other possible entertainment could include massages for all the attendees. After your spa treatment, show off the "new you" at an upscale restaurant in your area. Rent a limousine for the evening so you don't have to choose one of the partiers to be the designated driver.

Play or Dinner Theater

If the bride is not into the club and party scene, arrange to go and see a play or attend a dinner theater for her bachelorette party. The play could be in a small town or could involve a trip into a large city where a well-known playwright and her performers are having a show. Another option is a dinner theater, where you can watch a show while enjoying food and drink. Consider either hiring a limousine for the evening or choosing a few of the guests to be designated drivers to keep everyone safe on the highway.

Girls' Weekend Out of Town

Instead of having just one night to celebrate the bride's upcoming wedding, make a weekend of it. Go to a tourist destination, such as a beach town or possibly a city such as Las Vegas. Arrange for several meals for the ladies to enjoy together and entertainment as well. During the bachelorette weekend, factor in some downtime, during which each guest can do activities on her own if she wishes.

Learn to Dance

Have some fun learning a new skill with the girls at the party. Arrange for lessons on how to strip like the dancers at the strip clubs. Some gyms have aerobic classes based on this theme. Contact one and see if you can borrow or rent an instructor. If that does not work, call a local strip club, let the proprietor know what you would like to do and ask if she can send someone to your house to teach you how to dance like a professional.

Adult Toy Party

Invite everyone over to the bachelorette party organizer's house for a night of adult entertainment. No, this does not include hiring a male entertainer. Instead, invite a salesperson for an adult toy store or company to come and demonstrate the products she sells. Purchase some if you wish and laugh at the others that you would never dream of purchasing.
