Bachelorette Party Ideas in Las Vegas
Sin City offers a variety of options from sensual to sensational depending on your mood
By Alan Kirk
Las Vegas offers opportunities for bachelorette parties from tame to wild. A bachelorette party there can be a one-night affair, or it could last an entire weekend. The choice is up to you and your girlfriends. Private companies can assist you with your bachelorette party in Las Vegas, or if you'd prefer to have more freedom in your scheduling, there are plenty of activities to choose by planing the event yourself.
VIP host packages
A VIP Host Package is where your group of friends pays a third party to organize your bachelorette party for you. For a fee, a company will arrange transportation and access to several clubs in Las Vegas. Those could be strip clubs, dance clubs or a combination of the two based on your preferences. The VIP service also helps you avoid spending time in line waiting to pay a cover charge at these clubs. A package could include transportation to two different clubs along with a host for the evening, with additional packages offered that include dinner and limousine transportation.
Male revue shows
If you're looking for a quintessentially Vegas experience that definitely qualifies as risque, there are several male revue shows you can attend. "The Thunder From Down Under" is a well-known performance at the Excalibur Casino. The show is at 9 p.m. every night of the week, with additional 11 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday nights. Another revue is the "OG Men of Olympus," which is held at the Olympic Garden Club, or you can always go see the world-famous Chippendales perform.
Dinner in the sky
Before going out to the clubs for your Las Vegas bachelorette party, enjoy a meal that is miles away from traditional. Dinner in the Sky Las Vegas offers the opportunity for your bachelorette party to enjoy a meal while suspended more than 150 feet off the ground at your dining table. Your meal package includes transportation from your hotel to the dinner location, and back to the hotel afterward. You can seat up to 22 people per reservation. While at dinner, you will have your photo of your bachelorette party taken by the staff as a memory of your unique dining experience. Advanced reservations are required, as there are only two flights per night. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture the views of Las Vegas from the sky.
Weekend party
Instead of having a one-night bachelorette party, make an entire weekend out of it. Combine several activities with the amenities your hotel offers. During the stay, enjoy an afternoon relaxing by the pool and have a few drinks with the girls. Other afternoon activities could include taking advantage of spa services that your hotel offers or shopping offered inside of your hotel or other major hotels like the Bellagio. In the evenings, get dressed up and enjoy an evening of fine dining followed by dancing at one of the clubs in town. If you are not interested in the clubs that evening, go and explore the Las Vegas Strip while you are still dressed up.
Outdoor activities
If you want to get off the beaten path, take in the sights around Las Vegas. From the Grand Canyon to the Hoover Dam there are numerous options. Consider renting an off-road vehicle to drive to see the Canyon, or better yet, arrange for helicopter tours for the gang.
