Hi I'm Sue Scheele, owner of Classy Concepts Design, serving two locations in Mansfield and Round Rock, Texas. Today we're giving tips about wedding hats. Wedding hats have really come back into style. I think a lot of that has to do with the vintage look that many brides are looking for. Pillbox hats, feather fascinators and the cocktail hats that you wear on the back of your head, or to the side. They can make a darling look if you can pull it off. Another thing to consider is a bird cage veil. Bird cage veils can be more of a hat. They can be worn in different ways with feathers and over your face or not. And a lot of times brides will use that as more of an accessory piece for their hair rather than a veiling over their face. These products can be found at various bridal salons that specialize in bridal hats. A lot of bridal shops will have veiling and different bird cage veils and maybe accessories, but not all of them will have traditional pillbox hats and actual feather fascinators and things like this. So you'll want to contact them and make sure that they have these things so that you can go in, try them on with your dress and make sure it goes along with the look that you're trying to achieve. In our bridal salon we've seen that wedding hats are a great fit for second weddings, or maybe the older bride who's looking for a veiling or something to wear that's special on their head, but don't want to wear a veil that's more traditional. They can be a perfect combination to the right outfit or the right dress or even the right wedding suit. I'm Sue Scheele, owner of Classy Concepts Design, giving tips on wedding hats.
