Hi, I'm John Galbraith, and in this segment we're going to be talking about basic tools for first time homeowners. So, if you're not a professional, you don't need professional-grade tools, which are about three times as expensive as homeowners' tools. I think one of the best, handiest things to have would be a cordless drill. Also, a cordless screwdriver. Sometimes the two can be in the one tool, and of course you can buy tool kits that are already assembled. But the main thing is, just don't spend too much money on it, because you're not going to be using it everyday like a professional. And mostly, the things out there available for the homeowner are inexpensive and are pretty reliable, and come with a good warranty, of course. So, don't spend too much money; but make sure you have the basic tools. This is John Galbraith, and today we've been talking about tools for the first time homeowner.
