View TranscriptThis is Bryan Blair, talking to you about installing tile for every room. We use tile in every room of the house. We use tile in every room of almost every commercial building. What determines the type of tile, the type of instillation is its actual use. For instance, you wouldn't put the same tile on a wall in a shower as you would on a floor. Nor would you use the same tile in a gym shower or a commercial shower as you would in your home's shower. And even down to the point of having a shower tile for your children or for the master bathroom. They're always going to be different. There are different methods for installation every single tile on the market. Those installation methods are very important to adhere to. When you determine what room that you want to tile, that is the ideal time to get with professional and inquire about slip resistance, stain resistance, scratch resistance, freeze/thaw values, for instance, outdoors and water absorption rates, for instance, indoors. Don't just pick tile because of its price. Don't just pick tile because of its look. Make sure that you get a little bit of a practical function out of it as well. This has been Bryan Blair on how to install tile for every room.
