My daughter was young when she started (2 yrs 9 mths) but she REALLY needed preschool. I started looking when she was two-years old for the next fall - visited 6 schools before I found Cottonwood. I felt SO much more comfortable with Cottonwood. They encourage parent participation. Lots of child-led activities. Cottonwood's new location is spacious, airy and bright, giant outside play area. Come to the open house this Saturday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and see why Cottonwood is the best! They are enrolling for Jan. 2012

Cottonwood is a lovely play based parent inclusive preschool.The Children learn by doing and experiencing and have lots of fun doing it. I am always surprised by the ever changing and interesting activities they provide and love that my son gets to choose what he wants to do and how he wants to do it. They have a fantastic outdoor play area and do not restrict outdoor time to 20 or 30 minutes as many schools do. The staff are friendly and caring and have a great understanding for how little minds work.

My daughter is in her second year at Cottonwood. It's such a warm, nuturing environment. The teachers really know how kid's mind's work. They challenge them to come up with their own solutions, instead of giving them the "right" answer. This builds their confidence and gives them problem solving skills necessary in elementary school.

Cottonwood is a great preschool. My son is going into his second year there, and looks forward to going every day. The parents are so fantastic - great to be involved in my child's school from the start and part of the community. The teachers are wonderful, the classes are so fun. The kids learn in a play-based program, and get to develop their social skills.

This school has been a wonderful, perfect experience for my son. The community is warm, inviting and comfortable. A play-based parent cooperative preschool is a great way to be involved in your child's education. The teachers are really gifted - each child is made to feel special. There's an outdoor playground which is adorable, safe and big!

My son attended Cottonwood for 3 years and loved it. It was a wonderful, warm community where my son felt loved and cared for. The 2-day schedule was perfect for his first year - just enough separation and belonging to start developing his social skills. The teachers are so gifted - truly amazing. I loved being a part of my son's school - the cooperation between parents was terrific. The whole family was welcomed into the community.
