SunCoke Energy furnishes metallurgical coke to integrated steelmakers that utilize blast furnace technology. The company has served the steel industry for more than 40 years and produces over 2.5 million tons of coke per year, which is 15-percent of total U.S. production. It operates plants in Vansant, Va., East Chicago, Ind., and has a heat recovery coke plant and steam generation facility in Haverhill, Ohio.
