Fireman's Fund is NOT on your side. The adjuster are not on your side. In addition, they will tell you what you want to hear, but then reading the report, there is a huge disconnect. They have been very frustrating to work with. I have been very disappointed with my experience and thought that they were not like the other insurance companies, but are probably worse. Without even visiting my unit to see the damage themselves, they made assumptions and bluntly stated that this was not covered. They even suggested to me that it was OK and reasonable to live in a place where there is a leak in the ceiling where the water is brown, mixed with rain, and dog feces.
