I attended Mix 'em Up about 4 months ago without any prior experience in making drinks. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated. They continue to contact me with private party opportunities & job openings. Their hands on approach helped make me a successful bartender. I recommend giving them a shot!

What a GREAT school. I had no idea what to expect when I first thought about taking bartending classes. I figured I would be in a classroom learning different recipes and maybe doing some things on the computer. Boy, was I wrong. When I first called Mixem Up, I spoke to the owner Drew, which surprised me that I would actually talk to the owner of the business. That impressed me right away and he answered every question I had without making me feel pressured and I say that because I had gone to another school after they said I HAD to come there to get prices and the lady would not let me leave, without leaving a deposit. I actually had to lie just to get out of her office. So once I called Mix and talked to Drew, I had such a better feeling. I went to sit in on one of their classes and met with Brandon, the Director. As soon as I walked in i KNEW this was the place. Unlike the other school that was in a basement, here I thought I was in a bar. The hands on training that they do is awesome and I really like the way Brandon ran the class. I could tell how much he enjoys it and he is really good at flair to. I also had Henry teach me and he was just as good (and funny to). I have already told some friends about this school and I hope they join because they even pay me if they do. I couldn't be more happy with my time at Mixem Up and I will be going back to take some other classes they offer. Thanks guys!
