Routine maintenance on a Schwin AirDyne EVO,
with a broken chain.

I understand the part was difficult to locate. I excepted the scheduled repair time. I brought the machine in late on a Saturday, was told it would it would be completed, not the following Wednesday but the one after that. I mistakenly called the following Wednesday, and came back the evening of the Wednesday after that. I found the work incomplete, and was told it would be delivered the next day. I paid for the work then. Due to confusion, that I may have contributed to, it was not delivered until 2 days later. Fine
Initially the machine operated smoothly and quietly, as expected. After only 3 uses, I am hearing an alarmingly loud scraping sound [IDENTICAL to the sound it made just before the chain broke!] The cost of the work was approximately $180. The cost of the parts, I was told was $20. Your profit margin on this repair was not insubstantial. You'll understand if I feel the work was hurried, and my machine was not given it's share of your attention.
