Steve and his brother from Steve's Machine Shop went to work on my VW Golf 3 cylinder head after I supplied them with all of the cylinder head's upgraded small parts and between the two have produced a fantastic and meticulous product. In my discussions with Steve I described to him exactly how much work and what kind of work was to be performed in order to gain significant performance results but lose none of the fast flowing characteristics of the original design. In the end Steve managed to work the cylinder head and achieve meaningful air flow for both intake and exhaust chambers without losing intake or exhaust air velocity. The workmanship is of first rate and clearly a great deal of care and attention was applied through out the build. Steve will also work with other VW heads and their owners that may not know exactly how to increase the performance of there cylinder heads. His experience is definitely reflected on his workmanship. The best VW head I've ever owned!

Steve and his brother Ed were a Huge help with my Oldsmobile project. They are extremely knowledgeable and have all top of the line equipment to do the job. I HIGHLY recommend them to anybody who has ANY automotive machining needs. Whether it be race, performance or diesel, Steve is the Man to talk to.
