Founded in 1979, Smith Millwork Inc. is a two-step distributor of door slabs, door unit components, lineal mouldings and various millwork products, including square boards, step treads and more. Additionally, it manufactures custom lineal mouldings and custom door jambs. Based in Lexington, N.C., the company offers wood species such as red and white oak, maple, mahogany and more, and stock millwork items in primed. It caters to door prehanging shops, retail lumber yards and others in the five state area of the Carolinas, eastern Tennessee, southern Virginia and northern Georgia. With a 58,000 square feet warehouse and a fleet of flat bed trucks, it delivers products from a long list of manufacturers, including Gossen Corp., Corza and Masonite.
