BUYER BEWARE! The attitudes, customer service and business practices of this company are deplorable.

We never received a proper contract, they installed our floor the wrong direction, customer service was an absolute joke, the manager stuck her tongue out at my wife, they refused to fix the job without signing a legal document stating we would not post reviews like this...

Terrible, terrible business practices. They should be ashamed.

There are two Rite Rug stores in Lexington, Kentucky. My wife and I decided to check the one in Helmsdale Place only because of a customer review and recommendation in “Rite rug customer rating review Lexington KY” (please see Destiny’s review below).

“I shopped all over town and figured the big boxes would be cheaper. Home depot and Lowes couldn't come anywhere near the price given by Riterug. They were identical products and identical services. Riterug was THOUSANDS cheaper than there closest competitor. I first went to the one on fortune drive and couldn't get any help (maybe the guy was just having an off day) but then I went to the one behind cheddars off of man of war and they were great! I tell all my friends. And the floors look great and speak for themselves.”







Destiny is 100% correct, we were also very pleased with our visit to the store, the hardwood floor purchase, the installation and all other help that we have received from them (especially from the store manager Alan Roberts).







We highly recommend contacting Alan for any flooring advice and purchases because he is very knowledgeable, professional, patient, honest, and he never pressures you to make a quick decision like most other sales people.







As an ex-sales manager, I recommend Rite Rug Company use Alan Roberts as a training instructor for all their stores, specifically those in Ohio (if they want to increase their sales and improve customer satisfaction ratings). Alan Roberts’ management style and experience can greatly help the company.

Pretty good experience. I would consider them professionals. They forgot to do a few small things, so I called and talked with Andrea and Josh and they quickly sent someone back out to finish the job for free and put the closet doors back up. I would go there again.
