If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I've never felt with a utility company as terrible as this one. This is the second time in two months that they've cut off my electricity when I PAID MY BILL. The first happened because the payment was two days late and therefore cancelled my entire plan. They made me pay $100 just to get it turned back on. They will not work with you! This time, I have no idea what the reason is. I paid my bill in full by the due date on 10/18. I have a two year old daughter, tons of food gone bad in the fridge, etc. I've never been treated like this by a place who has gotten their money! Needless to say, I'm done with them and they will not get another penny out of me. Glad I am moving.

Thanks a lot KU! Your a real class act!

It's 4:45am and I am sitting in my car in front of my garage because my power is off and I can't get in my house. I have been here since 10:45pm last night, waiting on KU to send a technician to turn my power back on. By no fault of my own KU turned my power off at 2:56pm yesterday. About 45 minutes after I left home to work second shift. I came home to a dark house, and called KU. I knew I had paid my bill, so I knew they had screwed up. Well, after being placed on hold for a long time, I was told that because it was their mistake, they will send someone tonight to turn my power back on. After waiting for 2 hours I called to see if the tech was in route or not? I was told that the supervisor that was supposed to get me some help was not answering her phone. She gave the ok to send me a tech to restore my power, then she turned her ringer off. I made the first call to check the status of my reconnect after waiting for several hours, and for some odd reason the automated system kept hanging up on me. It refused to let me wait for a customer service rep. When I would push the appropriate number to speak to one, instead of hearing that music they play for you while your waiting, and hearing that guy say "Please hold for the next rep" the phone would actually ring a few times then hang up on me. It happened over and over. KU was blocking my calls somehow because they knew I would be calling them when 4 hours went by and nobody showed up. That's why the supervisor turned off her phone. They said they left the tech a voicemail too because he never answered or called back. Why did they do this to me. They knew that I was locked outbof my house, why couldn't they just been honest with me at midnight and tell me that they can't get ahold of anybody that could help me, that they won't be here untilbsometime Thursday morning, and that I probably need to make arrangements to sleep somewhere else tonight since I won't be getting into my house. That's all they had to say. But no! They had a 6 foot 50 something year old woman with artheritis and bad knees, which are on the dashboard because I'm so tall, sitting in a cramped and uncomfortable car all night from 10:45pm to 5:38am and I'm still waiting. If I had someplace to stay I would have gone there. My neighbors and I have a good relationship. We say hi when we see each other and we mind our own business. No Lima Drive potlucks over here. In 15 minutes it will be 6:00am. I have been out here in this car since 10:45pm. Waiting on somebody that KU said was coming, but never actually dispatched. They blocked my calls and turn their own phones off because they knew this was going to turn out to be a big jive messed up situation. Guess what they call themselves doing for my inconvenience? They are going to wave my reconnection fee! Thanks a lot KU. Your a REAL CLASS ACT!
