I purchase a used computer from Steve and had him transfer all programs and files from my original hard drive. I had some difficulty getting some programs to work. He sent an employee to my residence to fix the problems at no charge. Great customer service!.

Don't ever consider going to anyone else. He's quite good, keeps at the problem until he's fixed it, updates the client regularly and is so honest and cheap I expect him to go bankrupt any day now. I've had computers go in to him three times now -- one of the best experiences I've had doing business with anyone ever.

Wonderful service, fixed my laptop on site. My power supply was shorting out when I plugged it into my laptop and I was terrified my motherboard was fried. Turns out my power supply was the issue, and I bought a replacement there. Steve knows what he is doing. Life saver, highly recommend.

I have used Hartland's services on two occasions now and I am totally satisfied. I would definately recommend his services.

Steve Hamrin is a fine blend of knowledge, skills, and integrity. His passion seems to be one of helping people who have computer problems. What he does is not just a job but truly a service to others. His freely sharing of knowledge is amazingly generous and his prices for his services are very reasonable. His knowledge of computer software and hardware weaknesses and strengths is broad and his practical experience of what works and what doesn't is very valuable to any customer. I would highly recommend Steve and his service to all. But especially to someone who is not very knowledgeable about computers, etc. and feels at risk of not being treated fairly or honestly when they need computer service. Steve Mullins

This review comes after my 2nd experience with Mr Hamrin. The first was to fix a wifi issue. This time my 6 yr old computer wouldn't boot up. I was sure I would be investing in a new one. After servicing I sent him this message: Computer reconnected and working perfectly. Seems to be operating much faster than before. Thanks so much!

I discovered Steve & Hartland Computer a little over a year ago. Previously, I had all sorts of trouble with my computer, primarily because the service I was taking it to was either unable or unwilling (or both) to properly repair it. Since I found Steve, all that's changed. He is BY FAR THE BEST computer technician I have ever encountered. He's intelligent, personable, dependable, reasonable, and I have no reservation about recommending him above all others. Best computer tech in town, and it's not even close! Thank you Steve!!

When I found Steve Hamrin's website late one night and at wits end with problems I was impressed with his presentation of his services. Then when I met him in person to discuss my pc's symptoms I realized that with his service I was getting a unique combination of talents. His apparent technical knowledge and hands-on experience of the computer environment were all wrapped up in a person having integrity, a passion for his work, and truly a desire to help others experiencing the trauma of computer woes. His interpersonal skills were refreshing because he truly treated me like a customer that was valuable to him. His charges for his services were very, very reasonable considering the quality of service he provided. No need for me to look elsewhere for this service and I highly recommend his services with confidence.

Steve did an awesome job of identifying the problem then FIXING it--a full day ahead of his deadline. Classic under-promise/over-deliver performance! He knows everything about computers and gave me excellent advice on various topics, including the best anti-virus programs, online backup and equipment.

I definitely recommend this service. Our computer had been reformatted and we lost all of our pictures and documents. Steve was able to recover a great deal of our information, items that we believed would be lost forever. Thanks to Steve's services, we were able to preserve some very cherished photographs. Steve was very personable and was able to finish working on our computer even sooner than expected. During this entire experience, it was easy to reach Steve when we had questions and he always explained what he was doing in a way that was easy to comprehend. Also, it should be noted that the price of the service was very reasonable, especially considering the priceless nature of the items recovered. If I ever have serious computer problems again, I will definitely go back to Steve.

My roomate dropped my laptop on the floor and broke the screen. I called a number of companies and had problems finding one that could fix it quickly and for a reasonable price (Toshiba and a couple of the local businesses wanted more than the cost of a new laptop to fix it!). When I talked to Steve at Hartland Computers he was reassuring, willing to start working on fixing it right away and wasn't asking an arm and a leg for the repair. The results were great. I now have a new screen which seems to be even better than the original one (maybe that's just because it's not broken). The repair was fast, just a few days and the service was good. Steve was as friendly in person as over the phone and even gave me (free) advice on getting a new anti-virus program and fixing a few other problems I was having. I hope I don't need any more computer repairs, but if I do I would use Hartland Computer again.
