First Response of the Bluegrass, Inc. has been providing quality instruction and training to first responders and healthcare providers since our inception in 1995, ranging from response teams in industry, EMTs and Paramedics in the field and nurses, physicians and other staff in the hospital setting. It is our mission to provide the highest excellence in instruction and professional certification at an affordable price. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is to meet with students in small class sizes designed to maximize teacher-student contact. This allows our instructors to provide personal guidance within the classroom environment. Joe Kinney and Glenn Phillips founded First Response in December 1995. At that time, they had already spent many hours in the classroom, training students to become Emergency Medical Technicians, Firefighters and Paramedics. Soon, the company branched out to provide instruction to first responders in the industrial setting. In 2001, First Response paired with the American Heart Association and became the AHA's Community Training Center for Central Kentucky. Over the years, our instructors have trained literally thousands of healthcare providers in both Basic and Advanced Life Support and it is our sincere hope that we can continue to provide services to the Bluegrass region for years to come.

They make you pay when scheduling your class, and if something comes up they will not reschedule or refund your money. So they STEAL it, not having rendered any service!
