I am a nurse and I would definitely recommend Dr. Cox, he is truly a great psychiatrist. He is extremely intelligent, intuitive, and compassionate. He is easy to talk to and he truly listens, and cares about what you are going through and he genuinely wants to help. On top of all that he has a great receptionist, and his office is very comfortable, easy to get to, and there is rarely ever wait time when you come in for an appointment.

After 6 months of panic attacks, I was finally referred to Dr. Cox by a neurologist. Prior to finding Dr. Cox, unsure of my illness, I endured several diagnostic tests, a couple of other psychiatrists and wasted time and money. Dr. Cox had my panic disorder under control (and it has remained so) in less than two weeks. I am forever grateful to this expert.

I have been with Dr Cox for over 15 years and I have found him to be a very compassionate person towards all people he encounters. He has helped make a difference in my life and I would highly recommend him to others. Our doctor to patient relationship has grown into a very strong friendship and I value his judgement and direction.

He always accepts my referrals and doesn't make me feel inadequate in my work because I make a referral. Often I ask for his advice in my counselling work. He is warm and friendly and takes the necessary time to talk to his patients about their problems. He makes them feel as if they are special and unique in all the world and the only person he is concerned about during their visit.

I have been Dr. Cox's patient for over two decades and have found him to be both a competent and compassionate care-giver. I appreciate especially his "cutting edge" awareness of his discipline and willingness to go the second mile in order to provide appropriate treatment.

Steve saved my life. If not for him I would not be back to normal activies such as driving, going to the grocery and drugstore, etc. He is an excellent physician as well as an excellent person. Dr. Cox is a brilliant scientist and psychiatrist. He knows the latest advances in his field and can clearly explain to his patients the appropriate course of treatment. He is compassionate and respectful of all. His office offers privacy and calm. His patients benefit from his expertise and knowledge. He is especially helpful to patients who suffer from anxiety.
