I've actually already wrote a review once before for these apartments; I'm writing now to update on how fast things have changed since my last post. I have always been the type of person to pay my rent on time, however, my girlfriend had fallen ill a few months back. Without her income, I always had to wait to pay rent with my second check of the month. The people at the leasing office understood this, or so I thought. I ended up coming home one day to an eviction notice. I know it's not their job to worry about my personal life. However, I couldn't evict someone for paying bills late KNOWING the situation they were in. I ALWAYS paid rent by the end of the month. It just wasn't enough I guess. On top of that, it got to the point where I would ask that the workers for the leasing office would fix something, there were lots of beetles and spiders crawling around in the windows, on the floor, and anywhere else they could get to. We reported this problem several times with no results. One of my neighbors apartments was broken into and he told me himself that he felt like the situation was being blamed on him. He was asked why no one else's apartments were broken into. There are no security cameras EXCEPT for the camera on the wall by the leasing office. We've experienced a hit and run - someone tore the back off of my girlfriend's car and nothing could be done about it because there weren't any security cameras to prove who did it. One of my other neighbors said he'd been trying to get someone to fix his fridge for THREE YEARS now. It doesn't work right and no one will even come look at it. The leasing office workers seem friendly at first but once you move in, IT WILL CHANGE. I wouldn't recommend these apartments to anyone.

I moved here the end of summer 2010 when the bank took over this property and have loved it ever since. The improvements that have been made are incredible. The apartments are beautifully painted inside and outside they have had all the sidewalks repaired from old management that didnt care about this place. The roads and parking lots are either new or sealed now. It is just a great place to live now for families. I would not live any where else!!

I have lived here 4 a short period & I regret living here. They management & maintainace is ran so poorly. At my move in I had to fix so many problems myself like around the outside doors had big gaps, I had to put plastic over all the windows because they are so messed up air was coming threw like if I had the doors open. The kitchen sink looks as if it has been leeking for so long it has mildew & mold everywhere & stinks so bas & is soft from where it hasn't been fixed. I had to fix all the doors so they would shut. These apts would not be good living what so ever even for a animal. Yes I am moving from here & not coming back & will definately tell everyone not to come here & why?........the hoods is better than this place & even the homeless shelters......

I have lived in the augusta arms for a short while. My furnace is not producing hot air. Maintenance is suppose to be available 24 hours a day. I called 4 times to the emergency number and did not get a response. We remained in our unit because we had no money to get a hotel or other family in the area. My kids got very sick while the manager and mainten remained warm and secure. The roaches are the worst!!!! Junk cars all over the parking lots. There are children on the property who go through the dumpsters and have demolished the laundry facitlites, but yet they still reside on site. How would you feel the pay your rent on time, but be forced to stay in the cold during the worst cold weather of 2010. I warn you stay away.

I agree with the other review. I lived here for a year and they never complied with anything I needed worked on. The apartments are in a very shady area. Two months after I moved out I found out that they had called debt collectors on me for no reason. At first they said it was because I owed them money for keys not returned. When I called and talked to the person that I gave the keys to, they just changed their story and said it was for the "water bill" even though I didn't even have a water bill when I lived there. I eventually just paid the money to shut them up because they were calling several times a day.Do NOT choose Augusta Arms.

these apartments are not worth the money. they don't take care of there tentents needs but the want their rent. we have been living here for about a year and had nothing but problem after problem. don't let me get started about the bugs (roaches) in this place. I have the bug once since being here and before that this lady that used to live behind us said she hasn't seen pest-control in the three years she lived here, to me that makes no since. but yet they want their money.if you are smart don't rent here it would be a waste of money and time.
