"Arabesque World Dance" offers a unique-for-Kentucky opportunity to study the art of classic and fusion belly dance in a safe, professional, and family friendly environment. The professional studio has ample space to dance and socialize. Quality of music sound/accoustics is excellent. And the entire space is tastefully decorated with themed items and also features well-organized student area, tea area (my fave!), and souk area (also my fave!)Personally, I care the most about the quality of dance instruction, teachers' commitment to the art of dance, and no high pressure sales. I have to say Arabesque has exceeded my expectations. All teachers (currently two) offer a high level of dance intstuction with over 10 years of intense dance experience. Quality is present in all classes, from beginner to advanced, regardless if class has 10 or 1 student in class. One has to admit, this is rare in our modern world where quantity has become more important than quality! Also, classes are rarely (and I mean, RARELY!) cancelled. All sessions go on as planned!Finally, its useful to mention that absolutely all dance levels are accommodated. Beginners do not need to feel shy about being beginners. As a matter of fact, one can start out with "belly-robics," hula hoop, or yoga class to "get a feel" for the place. Intermediate, advanced, troupe students have appropriate class times set aside just for them. Advanced students also enjoy the privilege and exhilaration of performing at local events, celebrations, and periodic studio haflas.Finally, I want to mention that prices are fair and competitive, parking is free and always available practically next to front door (!!!), and you do not need to purchase any special clothes, equipment, or supplies, unless you want to (I recommend "Arabesque" tank top).
