Established in 1959, Jenifer Junior High School educates more than 600 students in grades seven through nine. It offers traditional courses in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school also offers elective courses in art, physical education, health and technology. Its health classes provide information on nutrition, body systems, substance abuse, safety and mental health. The school s advisory program focuses on the social, emotional, physical, intellectual and psychological development of students in middle grades. The school also offers programs to prevent alcohol and tobacco usage.
