If i could rate negative 5 stars, i would! This is the WORST dealership I have ever been to. Me and my sister came here to find her a Jeep that she loved. But the salesman Chris claimed that they charge $1,600 in dealership fees, that have nothing to do witg the tax fees, dmv fees, or doc fees! Then he went on to say that we have to pay NY sales tax of 8.625%, even though our car will be registered in FL which is 6%, that is 100% false, they were trying to commit TAX FRAUD! He then admitted that he charges all the customers from any state, NY tax. You pay your home state taxe percentage to your home state dmv, ITS THE LAW. We went down the road to another Jeep dealership in Garden City who said that numerous customers come to their dealership claiming the same problems from town and country! We bought the same exact car for $1,000 less on the sticker, did not have to pay $1,600 for dealer fees, and we paid the 6% sales tax. DO NOT GO TO TOWN AND COUNTRY!

BAIT AND SWITCH!! I found a car that I fell in love with online. I requested an appointment for a road test and to purchase the vehicle.

When my husband and I get there we look around for the car that I saw online, I walk up to a customer service rep (yes I had to hunt him down) and request the gentle man Chris that I had been speaking too. First he was with another customer and they try to hand me someone else, well I refused. (I felt the guy I started talking to should get the commission for the sale.)

The second time I'm told he is just an "internet guy" and to deal with Phil. I ask about the vehicle I saw and am told it was sold and delivered "yesterday" BUT we have this beautiful SRT for sale over here ( at 5,000.00$ more than I wanted to spend) I'm not stupid I saw the bait and switch right away!!!

I walked out with out leaving my information and my husband was confused why. I saw right away they are scammers!!! Stay AWAY!!!!

Bad business

I purchased a 2010 GET Terrain with extended warranty. I have been back and forth within a year for tire issues and various other reason but no matter what I bring it in for they constantly try to tell me that their is no coverage for the problem. Now after several months of me going back and forth about the tires my the seams on all 4 tires are bursting they say that this is NOT covered because my year is up but according to my paperwork it does not expire until 2018 and of course they cannot locate the paperwork. So when I showed them the paperwork now I get attitude from the whole service department. I knew I should have taken it back last year when I had the onset of the tire pressure issues an transmission issues. I'm done.

The service dept is a bunch of slime balls . I was having an intermittent problem starting my Jeep and getting a message about my "transmission over temp". So since I had a life time power train warranty on my Jeep I decided to let the service dept fix it since I thought all the repairs would be covered. What a mistake that was. I received a call from the service dept and they rattled off a list of 10 things my car needed. Which would have cost around $4000.00. I told him "NO" to 7 of the things that had nothing to do with the reason I even brought my car in. Even with the power train warranty it still cost me $1500.00 because every part they said I needed wasn't covered under the warranty. They suck!!! They must be writing their own reviews and giving themselves 5 stars because that's the only way they would ever get more that 1 star!!!

I selected one start but this dealership deserves none! These guys are running a scam. They give awful trade in values and at the very end slam you with a transportation and dealership fee on used cars that total over $1,100 along with other fees. These guys are thieves. The manager is rude and obnoxious and the salesmen are incompetent. Do not waste your time here.

Never again!!!! This place had possibly the worst business practice and managment that I have ever experienced. Unless you have internet, they will try to overcharge you. They will not negotiate. They will push you into a commitment without ever discussing financing. The manager, Joe, will be loud and obnoxious the entire time. They will be very pushy with their sales. You are expected to accept what ever they say as if they are doing you a favor by letting you buy a car. If I could give less than one star I would. Let me be clear, the staff is actually pleasant and knowledgable for the most part. It is management that is completely innapropriate.

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Do not step foot anywhere near them. My personal experience with Town and Country Levittown began months ago and I have never been so insulted or disrespected in my life. My husband drove two hours to purchase a used vehicle from them and gave them my car as a trade-in for the down payment. The salesperson he dealt with was amiable enough, but everyone else there was disrespectful and outright rude. On the phone, they are even worse. Once they know you are not calling to buy a car, they speak to you with zero respect. After berating my husband for a few different mistakes he made with the trade-in process, they finally gave him a trade-in value of $2800, but because the car was in my name, they were not able to take the car until they received the title. They told him they would mail a check when they received all the paperwork. I had to call about twenty times to get the odometer reading from them for the title because no one wants to help you when you call and they kept telling me that they keys were lost. Finally, upon receiving the title, they sent a check for $1800 instead of $2800. My husband called and was told to go ahead and cash the check and that they would send another for $1000. Well, that never happened. When he called about this, the salesperson he dealt with was gone and everyone else just said "what's done is done, you cashed the check". Not to mention the ridiculous, questionable financing options that they force upon you and the hidden fees.... The general manager speaks to people using foul, disrespectful, rude language and obviously encourages his employees to do the same. These people cannot be trusted.

Stay clear of here. The finance guy is a crook. Without realizing it I signed the financing papers for $2000 more than agreed upon. They ended up sending me a check for the $2000 after two weeks. STAY CLEAR OF HERE...THEY CAN'T BE TRUSTED. P.S. Told two friends who bought Jeeps after me...both bought elsewhere. Serves them right!!!

POOR service

Went to dealership with a check in my hand and dealership would not accept check from Navy Federal Credit Union even after speaking to them on the phone!!!!!! They want business????? Doesn't look like it to me. Then Youri, the sales rep, kept interupting me when I tried to tell him we would take our dealership else where. Not to mention they suck at trade ins. They offered me 7000.00 for my trade in, I took it to a diferent dealership and got 12,000.00 out of it. Talk about a rip off. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to my worst enemy!! Horrible, and I mean HORRIBLE, serivce.
