Me and my family visited the wilderness lodge for dinner the food was good but way to expensive $25.00 a plate u get a sandwich and a couple sides very disappointing never again 2 stars was generous

SEPTEMBER (2011) IN LESTERVILLE MISSOURI.



This area of Missouri has much going for it. Why is this the best Lodge in the Area? Good people, good facilities and excellent food - That's why. We were in hilltop cabin # 18. Really enjoyed the large screened-in porch and fireplace. The facility was very well manicured and maintained. With access to the Black River thru their sister site Riversedge, we enjoyed the lazy days of fall without all the people pressure (and noise) of high season.



Why not 5 Stars? Everywhere has opportunity for improvement - including Wilderness lodge.



For the money, you will NOT have a better experience in the area.
