Located in Lemont, Ill., Oakwood School promotes academic, personal and social growth of the students in kindergarten through grade two. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, including physical education, reading, science, English, math, health and social studies. Its support staff includes a psychologist, special education and physical education teacher, speech therapist, reading specialist, counselor, nurse and school resource officer. The school has a parent-teacher association that works with students, their families, schools and the community to expand the educational opportunities for students. The elementary school is a part of the Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District.
