Richard and Barbara retired from active day to day management of the company in 1995. It continues to be a family owned and operated company with their son, Richard E. Gore II, as president, their daughter Julie Mooney as Asst. Treasurer, and their daughter Pamela, daughter-in law Susan, and son-in-Law Jeffrey as directors. The third Generation Richard E. Gore III joined the company in June 2006 as an engineer after graduating with a BS in Industrial Technology, with a major in Electronic Engineering, at Fitchburg (MA) State College and, has worked for the company since high school. The company is UL listed for both fire and security, and, it's president has a NICET level 4 rating. Where most alarm companies sell their monitoring to nationwide companies we own and operate our own Central 24/7 Monitoring station at sister company Berkshire Communicators, Inc. in Pittsfield MA. We are licensed in Massachusetts (463C), Vermont (ES1000), Connecticut(LS00105680) and New York (12000011800). From our headquarters in Lee, MA we service Western Massachusetts, Southern Vermont, Northern Connecticut, and Eastern New York State 24/7. We are a First Alert Professional Security Alarm Dealer and Notifier ESD Distributor at the NESCO level. We design, install, and service Fire & Security Alarms, Closed Circuit TV Systems, Access Control Systems, Sound and Communications Systems, Telephone and Nurse Call/Emergency Call Systems. Our Contract Department works directly with general and electrical contractors in the bid market providing equipment, final connections, supervision, test, and warranty of the systems. They also work with Architects and Engineers of specifications for systems. Our Resale Department works directly with the end user Commercial, Industrial, and Residential owners with design and installation. Our Service Department provides expert service for all of our installations, as well as other installations, 24/7. They also perform the necessary system inspections and certifications required by state and federal authorities. The company has 12 professional, highly skilled employees who install and care for your system 24/7. They are fully licensed and undergo continual factory training in all of our products. This is our biggest asset. Some of these employees have been with the company over 30 years.
