I am very sorry to hear about your experience. Did you formally in writing let the staff know of this unpleasant and costly experience?



I've been going to this facility for three years now and I have always been treated with courtesy.

I don't know who your doctor/doctors were but they need to be aware.

Did not have a good experience and no one cared.



My first clue that something was amiss was trying to get an appointment for my mother. Apparently, in this office no one but the patient can make an appointment due to HIPPA. That is a huge stretch under the most extreme definition and does not reflect the guidelines put forth in HIPPA. I would suggest retraining staff.



Our appointment was for 10:45. We got to OPKS from LSMO at 10:15 then drove around for 15 minutes trying to discover which building this office was in. No one mentioned there would be numerous buildings and we did not know to ask. When we got up in the office, we were chastised for being "late". Since when does being 15 minutes early for an appointment constitute being late? We arrived at 10:30 for a 10:45 appointment and were told that since my mother did not have all of the paperwork filled out the doctor would not be able to see us today. EXCUSE ME?



We actually left and drove all the way back to Lee's Summit, MO. Took the day off. Will need to take another day off to do this again. Will make sure anyone who needs a rheumatologist does not go to the consultants at Menorah. Unless they would like to be spoken down to and have their appointment cancelled for being early to an appointment. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
