Their web-site advertises a free consultation to develop a game-plan so I called to set an appointment and was pre-screened on how much tax debt I thought I owed. Since my tax debt was under the attorney's $4000 starting fee, I was discouraged from pursing a meeting, since it didn't make financial sense.

To try to find out other options, the receptionist answered a few questions and then put me on hold and sounded like she tried to come back on, but the phone got disconnected. I tried calling back, but it was just after at closing, so I left a message with their answering service. I didn't know if this was intentional or accidental and thought I would see if my call was returned, but it wasn't.

The attorney advertises on his web-site that he does this because cares about people. I would believe that to be more sincere if they were prepared to at least offer some type of referral / resource(s) to people that don't fit their financial criteria, so that the lower-debt situations aren't left out in the cold (so to speak).
