I had surgery on my back on December 1st with Dr Bui, I was on disability leave from work for almost two and one half months. I went to every follow up while I was on leave, however I was not able to make it to my third and last "global follow up" after my surgery which was scheduled for February 24th. Due to a work conflict , I had a lot of catching up since I had been out of work. When I called to reschedule no one at the office mentioned to me anything to me about the " global follow up period" as they call it. I wanted to move my appointment just a couple of days, but of course it was impossible. They gave an appointment for March 24th, which would had put outside the three months "global follow up period" in which they do not charge a co-pay. At this time I had no knowledge that there was such a period, besides I did not choose March 24th they did. Well, I show up today for my appointment and found out that I was out of my "global follow up period" and had to pay a co-pay for an appointment they set up for me in the first place. And you may think, he is writing this over a co-pay? And the answer is no!. I am writing this because OrthoAtlanta is a greedy company. This was not the first time they tried to charge money unjustified. While I was on disability every time they had to fax something to my disability insurance company, they charge me $25.00 and it was for the same claim!! They did not care that I had not even receive my first disability check, because it does take a long time for checks to come in. This company takes advantage of patients situations, they have no heart or human compassion. All they care about is $$$$. Whenever you bring these issues to the doctors they act like they are just employees, there is never anything they can do for you. I requested my medical record today to go somewhere where they will treat me like a human being not a patient number.

This is the best location to go to ortho atlanta. The wait time is less, the traffic is minimal, the staff is nice, and the atmosphere is calming. I really like the fact that this location has a pharmacy downstairs so that you do not have to travel too far for refills.
