I HIGHLY recommend All Terrain Transmissions! I broke down on the interstate, and the tow truck driver from AAA recommended them highly- They took very good care of me, and squeezed me in on a very busy Friday to try to get me back on the road as soon as possible. They repaired multiple issues on my vehicle, and went above and beyond to insure I would be safe on the road as I had an additional 600 miles left on my trip. I even got a followup call a few days later to check on my well being, and make sure I had arrived safely to my destination, and that I had not had any further issues with my vehicle. Cannot thank them enough for every thing they did for me :)

On the way to Colorado our car developed problems. We called AAA and they picked up our car and took it to All Terrain Total Car Care in Las Vegas New Mexico. In five hours they had our car running and we were on our way. Mr, Montano and his crew were fantastic. Everything was explained in detail. If you are in the area these our the people to go to for work on your car.

They charged a diagnostic fee of $88 for a bad alternator! Then charged 2 hours labor for 2 bolts to take out and put in on a 1998 chevy truck. For a real mechanic I could see this job taking no longer than 20 minutes. After all that they charged $248 for the alternator!!! I can understand some markup but not 100% - I could have bought from Auto Zone for $120. Total bill was almost $500!!! You be the judge if this sounds like an honest and trustworthy place to take your vehicle. I believe Steve is a thief running a crooked business.

I was just 'passing through' the area and needed someone to look at my transmission. These guys were very helpful and accommodating. They explained everything to me. They even gave me a cup of coffee. It was a very pleasant experience and a fair price.

This company has always been good to me. I have taken all my vehicles to them and my family takes their cars to them too. Overall we are satisfied with All Terrain.

This place used to be a quality shop, but the previous owner has let his son take over and the craftsmanship and service has declined. They charged me $150 for an oil change without my knowing the price! I paid over $300 for a checkup and when I left my car didn't make it 5miles before breaking down as a result of their mistakes. I will never take my vehicle here again.
