I love Julies! Our dog (yorkie mix) is always taken care of and comes out looking perfect. The price is very reasonable. There are dogs out sometimes, but they are well supervised and seem to be only dogs that do well with people and other dogs. My dog can be very shy around new people and he loves to go to Julies. I would recommend pre-booking your appointment, because it is hard to get in last minute.

When I first walked in, i saw all these dogs roaming around, yet MANY crates and dogs yelping in them concerned me. I asked Julie how long it would take to groom my small dog and she said 4 hours. I asked if my dog would be crated and she looked at me puzzled and said "yes". I was never offered a "rush" job with no crate and feel that if I was told I could get one that it would be a rush job and to pay extra? Not for me or my poodle...

Very clean. Friendly staff. Reasonably prices. VERY accommodating... I rescued a dog who had trauma as a result of being crated the first 1 1/2 of her life. The last thing I wanted was for her to be in a crate. On top of that she'd never been to a groomer. Julie and her staff offered a "rush" service (forgive me, I don't know the term they used), but it was only an additional $5 fee so that the dog would never see a crate and I could pick her up in an hour. I couldn't appreciate their sensitivity enough. I highly recommend!

There is a definite disconnect...

There is a definite disconnect when you call to book an appt. at Julie's. Today was the second time we took our beloved teacup Yorkie in for a cut. The first time was an obvious overbooking because Julie asked me, "are you sure it's for this Saturday? I don't have him down." Rhonda did a nice job so we went back. So today, after having had our appt. at 9:30 am for 2 weeks, Julie told my daughter that "he was the last one in so he won't be done until close to closing - around 4:30"! I called to tell Julie that we were not a "walk-in" so why would our dog be the last one done? We already do not like our dog in a crate for an extended period of time. Evidently Julie cannot keep her appointments straight and I told her that in all the years I've been to groomers, 4 hours was the max we've ever had to wait to pickup our dog. She was snippy and told me that she's not like a beauty parlor and cannot just say how long it would be to get my dog done. She also did not even greet us when we picked our dog up and was extremely rude to us. She offered to put a 4 hour pickup on his card for the next time but there won't be a next time. #SoUnorganized, #RudeOwner
