We have purchased flooring from this business for more than 35 years... for our last three (3) houses... including an entire 2,900 sq ft house. Recently, we needed to have the carpet stretched to put our home on the market. I got nothing but the run around for two weeks ... no return calls or follow ups ...etc. Then when I called for the final time they informed me that my carpet was too old to stretch. That might be a valid point if anyone had actually bothered to come out and take a look! In reality, while the carpet is older, it has been stretched twice without incident and is in excellent condition (thus making it infinitely more pliable). To add insult to injury, the reason that we have had to have it stretched in the first place is due to poor seam tape placement and installation!

Now we are left hanging because no one wants to bother stretching carpet that they didn't initially install!

Why can't companies see when they treat customers like this that it has long term implications for their business? In this case, they have lost our future business ... we are just completing the renovations on a 4,200 sq ft home and I was planning on buying my carpet where I always do .... now, not ... add to the mix the lost business from friends, family, coworkers and future customers that do their research online.
