A few years ago we had to have our roof replaced and some of our windows because of hail damage. Our roof replacement went well but when Shattered Glass did the windows I just looked on in disbelief that this was a professional window company. Even though they measured for the replacements, the windows were much smaller and there was about an inch gap all the way around the window which they filled in with caulk. I complained about how bad it looked and supposedly they ordered a slightly bigger one and came out and reinstalled. It did not look any better than the first try. This was an extremely sloppy job and the way it was addressed is they gave me a credit for me to install wood trim to hide it. When each summer comes around I am reminded of the poor job they did as my screens do not fit either. When I am in my room reading, bugs are attracted to the light and come in through the gap in the screens. Yesterday I realized that my cats can actually push out the screen in my front window. This morning, when I got up my indoor cat was outside and the screen was on my front lawn. Also, with spring comes other home projects and while painting near the window in the garage that was replaced by shattered glass the same time. There is air gaps all around that window. The window is ridiculously smaller than the original opening and all winter long I have had cold air coming in the gaps of the window of my heated garage. I called the company this morning, hoping to at least get my screen replaced to the correct size so that the bugs won't come in. She was very dismissive, not even concerned about making it right since it had been a few years. In my opinion it should have been done right in the first place. That is how you grow a business and get happy customers that will refer you to their friends. For me, it was a bad experience from the beginning, even their second try they did not get it right and did not care to make it better. I would not recommend this company.

I can not recommend the people over at Shattered Glass enough. I have a few large windows in my basement that were old and broken and needed replacing, so I called Shattered Glass. Mike came out that day and gave us a quote to replace all the windows. Financially we could only do half of them, but that was no problem, Mike gave us our price and ordered the windows that day. Then they were even able to install the windows a couple weeks early! The windows look great, the price was extremely reasonable and they pulled off the job in just a few hours. Even getting payment taken care of was a breeze as Liz gave me a call and we were able to do it all over the phone. I would strongly recommend Shattered Glass for any window job and can't wait to have them finish the rest of our windows in the near future!
